Fighting for Peace

June 25, 2011

Having got a grasp of the conflict in Libya, our students arrived at the United Nations this week to debate a solution to the crisis. They may have spent more time on their costumes than their arguments, but with the help of some cucumber sandwiches, they managed to reach a solution that Presidents and Prime Ministers have so far failed to achieve.

Here are the resources we developed for the project, some of which were kindly donated by Olivia Herbert:

UN Lesson Plans

UN Lesson 1 Looping PowerPoint

UN Lesson 1

UN Lesson 2

Can I just say this blog is a fabulous idea – I am a global citizenship coordinator and shall be linking your blog from my schools website if that is OK?
